  • Hardware Design
  • Design electronic circuits, PCBs, and power electronics for BESS battery packs, BMS, and PCS; perform schematic capture, PCB layout (Altium/KiCad), prototype assembly, and hardware debugging.
  • Develop and execute validation protocols for electrical, thermal, and mechanical characterisation.
  • Testing & Certification
  • Support EMI/EMC, environmental stress, and safety testing for IEC 62619, UL 9540, CE, and BIS certification.
  • Conduct FMEA, reliability testing, and design iteration based on test results and field feedback.
  • Manufacturing Transition
  • Support DFM reviews and hardware design transition to mass production with manufacturing teams.
  • Create and maintain BoM, assembly drawings, and production documentation.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with BMS software, firmware, and mechanical teams for full BESS system integration.
  • Maintain rigorous design documentation and version control across all hardware releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3–8 years hardware engineering; battery systems, power electronics, or energy storage hardware preferred
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium/KiCad), power electronics lab instruments, and hardware debugging
  • Familiarity with IEC 62619, UL 9540, DFM principles, and battery safety standards is an advantage
