Design electronic circuits, PCBs, and power electronics for BESS battery packs, BMS, and PCS; perform schematic capture, PCB layout (Altium/KiCad), prototype assembly, and hardware debugging.
Develop and execute validation protocols for electrical, thermal, and mechanical characterisation.
Testing & Certification
Support EMI/EMC, environmental stress, and safety testing for IEC 62619, UL 9540, CE, and BIS certification.
Conduct FMEA, reliability testing, and design iteration based on test results and field feedback.
Manufacturing Transition
Support DFM reviews and hardware design transition to mass production with manufacturing teams.
Create and maintain BoM, assembly drawings, and production documentation.
Collaboration
Work closely with BMS software, firmware, and mechanical teams for full BESS system integration.
Maintain rigorous design documentation and version control across all hardware releases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
3–8 years hardware engineering; battery systems, power electronics, or energy storage hardware preferred
Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium/KiCad), power electronics lab instruments, and hardware debugging
Familiarity with IEC 62619, UL 9540, DFM principles, and battery safety standards is an advantage
