Job Description:

I am looking for a Hardware Engineer for a new group I have been put in charge of. The group is OLYSENSE Sustaining and I am looking for a T2H (CW initially) based in Westborough MA or Center Valley PA. I will get a rough Job Description together but this is for NMDHS and SaMD work, need to be familiar with Med device technology, Medical device connectivity and PC based HW.

Sustaining group for Olysense product-- AI Platform

One of the jobs they have a need for is a hardware engineer for olysense hub system

Medical grade PC with software as a medical device

Software downloaded by imagine

Familiar with

Hardware

Architecture

Video cards, processors, memory, AV technology & cabling to medical devices such as scopes & technologies

Hardware drivers & testing

System Integration, multiple components

Med Device background

GFMA

Can have 2-3 years of experience MIMIMUM

Needs a degree

dFEMEA

IEC60601

Cabling ie 3G/12G SDI

HW Drivers and System Integration

Med Device Experience

Early meetings with Europe, later meetings with Australia, japan and germany

HDMI/Display Port technologies

AV and signal conversations etc

nice to have knowledge of QMS and Regularity Requirements in US and EMEA

Day in the life

Status meetings, stand up once a day

Many projects lined up for this group, offset this work to sustaining team

Should be ready to jump right in

Must Haves--> Sustaining group, they will work on customer complaints

Hardware/system knowledge

AV knowledge

Understand how to diagnose problems

Adding new features/ system integration & validation work

SaMD

Releasing a new product "system" that has a manufacturing & supply chain pipeline that has an installation process that has equipment that operates in the field

Running new hardware, new software, new problems can happen

As Olympus goes through release process, their product may work well one time but then it may not work in certain circumstances

This resource will monitor this & go deep into what the problems may be

Always evolving

This engineer will understand how a computer ticks, how software runs on it

Naturally curious person with good technical skills

Ramp up would be understanding the products
