Company Description IoTechWorld Avigation Pvt Ltd is an India-based company specializing in drones for agriculture, survey, and surveillance applications, along with AI solutions for drone-based use cases. The company’s AGRIBOT is India’s first government-approved agri-spray drone, supporting modern and efficient farming practices. IoTechWorld develops farm-survey drones equipped with multispectral and hyperspectral cameras for precision and proactive agriculture. The team has also engineered its own LiDAR technology for highly accurate aerial surveys, achieving up to 5 cm accuracy using ground control points. In surveillance, the company delivers advanced drone solutions for DRDO and other defense organizations.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Hardware Engineer. The Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and test drone hardware components, including electronics hardware and computer hardware systems. Daily responsibilities include circuit design, schematic development, PCB design collaboration, hardware prototyping, and integration of sensors such as LiDAR and specialized cameras. The role involves troubleshooting hardware issues, optimizing performance and reliability for field conditions, and working closely with cross-functional teams in firmware, software, and mechanical design. The Hardware Engineer will also contribute to documentation, compliance with relevant standards, and continuous improvement of drone platforms used in agriculture, survey, and surveillance.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and general Hardware engineering for embedded and drone platforms.
  • Candidates should possess solid Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design skills for creating reliable and efficient electronic systems.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Computer Hardware, including integration of processors, communication modules, and peripheral interfaces.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with embedded systems, sensor integration (e.g., LiDAR, camera modules), and power management for UAVs or robotics is beneficial.
  • Ability to read schematics, use EDA tools, and collaborate on PCB layout; familiarity with testing instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in aerospace, robotics, or drone hardware development, and familiarity with relevant safety and quality standards, is an advantage.
