Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mid-Tier Networking Hardware Engineer to

become a key member of our India R&D team. You will be responsible for the hands-on design, development, and validation of our wired (Ethernet Switch) and wireless (Wi-Fi AP) hardware. You will own significant parts of the design process, from circuit design and layout review to design verification testing (DVT) and production support, ensuring our products are robust, reliable, and cost-effective.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed hardware circuit design, PCB layout reviews, and comprehensive design verification testing.
  • Execute detailed design validation, including functional verification, signal characterization, power
  • testing, and system coexistence testing.
  • Manage and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve hardware issues during development and factory prototype builds.
  • Contribute to design updates based on DFM/DFA/DFC feedback.
  • Co-work effectively with cross-functional teams including component engineering, firmware, mechanical, power, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Bring your design to mass production by setting factory test requirements and assisting in hardware bring-up.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware design, particularly in Switch, Server, or Wireless AP hardware.
  • Hands-on experience in Networking Board Design (Schematic & Layout).
  • Strong knowledge of High-Speed Interface Design (SerDes, DDR, PCIe).
  • Experience with Hardware Validation & Debugging (DVT) using lab equipment (oscilloscopes,
  • multimeters, power supplies).
  • Familiarity with silicon from major vendors (Broadcom, Marvell, Realtek) and ARM/MIPS/x86
  • platforms.
  • Knowledge of Power over Ethernet (PoE) and DC/DC converters.
  • Experience with hardware EDA tools (OrCAD Capture, Cadence Allegro).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of networking industry standards, protocols, and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (DFM, DFA).
  • Experience with RF System/Subsystem Design & Validation (WiFi, BLE, etc.).
  • Familiarity with firmware development is a plus
