Job Description

Your mission:


Development of hardware for electronic control units in an international team including some or all of the following tasks (depending on project context):


  • Analysis and evaluation of requirements (Requirements Engineering)
  • Definition of hardware specification and architecture
  • Design, calculation and simulation of mixed digital and analog circuits
  • Work with schematics and pcb layouts
  • Specification of test set-ups
  • Commissioning of electronic modules (PCBAs)
  • Performing developmental tests and measurements
  • Ensuring traceability with regard to the hardware work products
  • Creation of needed documentation
  • Participate in reviews, audits and assessments




Your profile:


  • Completed academic studies (electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable)
  • Multi-annual work experience in hardware development
  • Good understanding of electronic control unit systems
  • Experience with laboratory work (commissioning of PCBAs, failure analysis, taking measurements, working with oscilloscopes, soldering skills, etc.), preferably also with HIL systems
  • Experience of working with Vector CANoE
  • Preferably experience in development of DC/DC converters
  • Experience in Altium Designer
  • User knowledge of automotive development tools and processes
  • Knowledge of automotive standards (Functional Safety, A-Spice, etc.)
  • Good command of English (in spoken and written)
  • Ability to communicate and to work in a distributed international team as well as showing one’s own initiative
