We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer / IoT Hardware Consultant who will be involved on an ad-hoc basis to support specific hardware-related requests, including presales, discovery, technical estimation, and solution validation when needed.
Responsibilities:

Support presales and discovery activities by providing hardware expertise, technical input, and solution validation.

Review client requirements and help define feasible hardware architecture and implementation approaches.

Support effort estimation, technical risk assessment, and preparation of hardware-related recommendations for potential projects.

Develop electrical schematics for IoT devices.

Design printed circuit boards, from 2-layer to multilayer, including high-speed and RF boards.

Select electronic components considering availability, cost, reliability, and project requirements.

Optimize power consumption, work with battery-powered solutions, and implement low-power modes.

Integrate microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, Nordic, NXP, TI, and other hardware components.

Assemble and test initial board prototypes and debug schematics.

Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other tools to validate device performance.

Prepare production files, including Gerber, BOM, and Pick & Place files.

Support communication with PCB manufacturers and provide input during manufacturing preparation.

Maintain technical documentation for manufacturing and product lifecycle support.
Requirements:

Experience in schematic design and development of digital and analog circuits.

Strong PCB design skills, including experience with 2-layer and multilayer boards.

Understanding of high-speed signal design, EMI/EMC considerations, and shielding techniques.

Experience with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee, NB-IoT, 4G/5G, RFID, or UWB.

Experience integrating sensors, such as temperature, humidity, vibration, acceleration, or similar.

Experience with low-voltage power systems, including DC-DC converters, LDOs, batteries, and power-saving techniques.

Hands-on debugging skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.

Ability to analyze client requirements, identify technical risks, and propose feasible hardware solutions.

Basic knowledge of embedded programming, especially C/C++ for microcontrollers, would be a plus.

Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
Nice to have:

Experience with simulation tools such as LTspice, PSpice, MATLAB, or similar.

Familiarity with IoT device certification requirements across different regions, including the EU, USA, and China.

Experience with MEMS and sensor technologies.

Understanding of compliance and certification standards.

Previous experience participating in presales, discovery, technical consulting, or estimation activities.
