About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CCTV Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and management of CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of our facilities. This role requires a strong technical background in CCTV technology, networking knowledge, experience with IR and thermal cameras, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Configuration:

Install, configure, and test CCTV systems and associated hardware.

Ensure proper functioning of cameras, monitors, recording devices, and related equipment.

Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement for maximum coverage and efficiency.
Maintenance And Troubleshooting

Perform regular maintenance and inspections of CCTV systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Troubleshoot and repair any issues with CCTV equipment, including cameras, cables, and network connections.

Respond promptly to service calls and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
System Management

Monitor CCTV systems to ensure continuous and reliable operation.

Manage video storage and retrieval, ensuring that recorded footage is accessible and properly archived.

Implement and maintain software updates and firmware upgrades for all CCTV components.
Networking And Integration

Design, implement, and maintain networking systems to support CCTV infrastructure.

Integrate CCTV systems with existing network infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability.

Configure IP addresses, subnet masks, and routing protocols as required for CCTV systems.
IR And Thermal Camera Expertise

Install, configure, and maintain IR (Infrared) and thermal cameras.

Ensure these cameras are integrated into the overall CCTV system for enhanced monitoring capabilities.

Conduct regular testing and calibration to ensure accurate thermal imaging and infrared detection.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
-
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with CCTV systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Experience with IP-based CCTV systems and network configurations.

Experience with IR and thermal camera systems.
Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of CCTV technology, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related hardware.

Proficiency in using CCTV management software and tools.

Understanding of networking principles and experience with networked CCTV systems.

Familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and network protocols.

Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for CCTV installation and maintenance.

Expertise in IR and thermal camera technology.
