Job Description:

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

Analysis and definition, dimensioning of satellite navigation systems

Support the implementation of the specified signal processing algorithms providing the necessary information for finite arithmetic implementation of the algorithms

Define and develop firmware architectures.

FPGA Design.

Close collaboration with Software Firmware and Hardware development teams to drive products implementation and validate the performance during the AIT phases

Contribute to the production of the relevant technical documentation in the frame of the various active projects

Active technical role in the preparation of commercial proposals

Job Description

Competences Education/Training:

Strong academic background in Navigation Systems and

Signal Processing

Knowledge of the FPGA devices and the correlated

programming languages (i.e. VHDL) and tools.

Experience:

Firmware design and development

Navigation system analysis and dimensioning

System modelling and simulation in Matlab/Simulink

Experience (3÷5 years min) possibly in space industry

Tool or product requirements:

Excellent knowledge of Matlab SW tools for system

modelling is required

Excellent knowledge of VHDL programming languages

Excellent knowledge of FPGA simulating and design tools

Languages:

Fluency in English is required for the position
