Firmware Test Engineer

Currently, for our client in the industrial automation sector, we are looking for Firmware Test Engineers to join a team responsible for testing embedded software for frequency converters in the development phase. We are looking for both junior and mid-level specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Executing automated (Python) and manual tests, including debugging
• Reporting test progress
• Logging anomalies and participating in triage meetings
• Writing and maintaining Python test scripts

Ideal candidate profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in testing
• Proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of industrial automation (PLC, inverters)
• University degree in Automation, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• English at a minimum B2 level

Conditions

• Work model: hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site), the client’s office is located in Katowice
• Contract type: B2B, 80–120 PLN/h (junior and mid-level positions available)
• Contract duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension
