You will develop Firmware and FPGA solutions for advanced electronic test and measurement instruments, such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and related measurement systems. You will contribute to the design and implementation of embedded software, digital signal processing functions, high-speed data processing systems, hardware control features, and FPGA-based solutions to meet product performance and functionality requirements.

Working closely with hardware, software, system, and manufacturing teams, you will support system integration, debugging, and verification throughout the product development lifecycle. You will troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize system performance, and contribute to product qualification and manufacturing readiness. You will also collaborate with global R&D teams to help deliver innovative measurement solutions to market.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in firmware, FPGA, embedded software, or digital system development.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Embedded software or firmware development using C/C++
• Software development using C#, C++, or similar programming languages
• FPGA design and development using Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
• Digital signal processing (DSP)
• High-speed digital interfaces and data processing
• Experience with system integration, debugging, and verification.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing electronic test and measurement instruments.
• Experience with AMD/Xilinx or Intel FPGA devices and development tools.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve software, firmware, or FPGA development productivity.
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, JESD204, DDR, or SerDes technologies.
• Experience implementing DSP algorithms in FPGA, firmware, or software.
• Experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
• Working proficiency in English.
