The coding challenge, based on C, is required for application submission. Candidates who perform well on the challenge will be considered, even if they are fresh graduates or have limited experience .


Role Summary

We seek an experienced firmware engineer with a strong background in microcontroller development, particularly with ESP32. The ideal candidate will work on developing and optimizing firmware for embedded systems in the following areas:

  • Optimizing LVGL on ESP32C3 (LVGL experience is a plus).
  • Implementing digital audio mixing and distribution.
  • Configuring and managing WiFi and Bluetooth (BLE and Classic) on ESP32.


Key Responsibilities

Technical:

  • Develop and optimize ESP32 firmware in alignment with our product architecture and roadmap.
  • Create and execute test plans to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Identify technical and schedule risks, collaborating with the team to develop solutions.

Attitude:

  • Work effectively within the team to meet bi-weekly sprint goals.
  • Document requirements and design comprehensively in Confluence, and publish code to GitHub.
  • Be an engaged and positive team member, working collaboratively and proactively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with firmware development on major microcontrollers, such as STM32, NXP, or nRF; experience with ESP32 is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LVGL is a plus.
  • Strong track record in firmware development for embedded systems.

Additional Information

  • The job is remote but based in India, as other team members are working from India. Occasional travel to Indore, M.P., India, may be required for periodic in-person collaboration.
  • Experience with digital system prototyping is helpful for remote development.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence is preferred.
