Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer for an immediate onsite opportunity in Melbourne, FL . The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in FPGA design, development, verification, and implementation using industry-standard tools. Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-speed digital systems is highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with FPGA Design & Development
• Expertise in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog
• Hands-on experience with Xilinx Vivado , Intel (Altera) Quartus , or similar FPGA toolchains
• Experience with FPGA synthesis, implementation, timing closure, and debugging
• Knowledge of simulation and verification tools (ModelSim, QuestaSim, Vivado Simulator, etc.)
• Familiarity with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, SPI, UART, I2C
• Experience with embedded processors/SoC FPGA platforms is a plus
• Strong debugging skills using logic analyzers and lab equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement FPGA-based solutions.
• Develop RTL using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Perform simulation, verification, synthesis, and timing analysis.
• Debug FPGA designs in laboratory and production environments.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams.
• Optimize FPGA performance, resource utilization, and power consumption.
• Prepare design documentation and support integration activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Embedded Systems, or High-Speed Digital Design is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Melbourne, FL .
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
