As a Firmware Engineer, you’ll join a small team to develop FPGA firmware that controls advanced photonic systems, implementing deterministic low-latency processing, timing and closed-loop control for mission-critical autonomous platforms.

The company is based in Austin, TX. Local candidates are preferred, although we're happy to consider engineers elsewhere in the US who can travel to Austin regularly.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be US Citizens or Green Card holders .

We're looking for experience with:

• FPGA firmware development using VHDL and/or Verilog
• Sensor interfacing and hardware control
• FPGA timing closure and optimisation
• Closed-loop control systems
• Low-latency digital signal processing
• Autonomous systems, robotics or navigation technologies
