We are looking for an FPGA Evaluation Engineer with strong experience in Xilinx-based systems to support the validation and characterization of advanced hardware designs.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy testing, analysing and optimizing FPGA performance, ensuring systems meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.

Your Role

You will play a key role in evaluating FPGA designs and validating system behaviour, working closely with hardware design teams to ensure optimal performance. You will be working on cutting-edge FPGA-based systems alongside experienced hardware engineers contributing to advanced technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test benches for FPGA-based designs

• Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, debugging and validation

• Identify and analyse performance bottlenecks in collaboration with design teams

• Evaluate and characterize FPGA implementations using Xilinx Vivado / Vitis toolchains

• Contribute to improving automated test and validation environments

Requirements

• Proven experience with Xilinx FPGA architectures

• Strong background in developing automated test environments

• Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog

• Experience with FPGA debugging and validation workflows

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
