FPGA Engineer, DSP

Full-time

Ankara, Turkey

We are interested in candidates with FPGA digital design experience for digital signal processing (DSP) and software defined radio (SDR) applications.

Key Responsibilites

  • Designing and implementing digital signal processing systems.
  • Collaborating closely with DSP, RF/antenna, and software engineers to design and validate software-defined radio systems
  • Implementing logic designs and DSP algorithms in RTL
  • Integrating digital designs onto FPGA/SoC based SDR platforms.
  • Testing and verifying designs both at sofware and hardware level.
  • Writing and maintaining documentation for in-house IP and other software

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on digital design and DSP
  • Minimum 1 year of FPGA and digital design experience with emphasis on signal processing applications
  • Experience using Verilog and SystemVerilog
  • Basic experience with SoC platforms and PL/PS interfaces
  • Experience with Xilinx toolchain
  • Excellent foundation in DSP
  • Knowledge of basic digital signal processing (DSP) concepts and algorithms
  • Basic experience with C++
  • Basic scripting skills using Python

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with SDRs like USRP, HackRF, RTLSDR, BladeRF is a huge plus.
  • Experience interfacing with high-rate ADCs (AD9361 etc.) via JESD204B is a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of digital communications
  • Hardware debug experience, and familiarity with equipments such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Linux based OS
  • Holding a master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is an additional advantage.
