FPGA Development Tools Engineer

Job Description:

Researches, designs, develops, and optimizes software tools that enable the use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA).

• Develops tools on bitstream generation, assembler tools and configuration tools and validation for FPGA configurations.
• Documents processes, tools, and workflows for internal use.
• Basic understanding of FPGA architecture
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years C/C++ programming experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge in scripting skills (Python, TCL) for automation
• Good knowledge in bitwise operations and FPGA configuration flows.
• Has Knowledge of Java programming for tool development or integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with FPGA toolchains
