Your Responsibilities

Development of PLD/FPGA solutions for embedded systems in the aerospace sector

Planning, execution, and coordination of tasks related to the development of complex software applications

Implementation of technical requirements and detailed specifications for the optimal use of hardware architectures, assemblies, and FPGA control systems

Support in the definition, programming, commissioning, and testing of Board Support Packages for electronic control units and applications

Conducting PLD/FPGA reviews for requirements analysis as well as conceptual and detailed design evaluation

Analysis, documentation, and communication of verification results
-
Creation, review, and evaluation of safety concepts and analyses

Development and further advancement of software strategies

Collaboration within interdisciplinary development teams
Your Profile
-
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical qualification

Solid experience in embedded systems development
-
Experience in software development within the aerospace sector
-
Proven experience with PLD/FPGA technologies and related development tools (e.g., Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero)

Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is a plus
-
Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, preferably using ModelSim or Riviera-PRO
-
Ideally, experience in PLD/FPGA development for aerospace applications (e.g., according to RTCA DO-254)

Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are essential for internal and external communication
The position is compensated according to the IG Metall collective agreement. Your salary will increase step by step during the first months up to an annual gross salary of €99,000:

Months 8–9: €84,500

Months 10–12: €87,500

From month 13: €99,000
