FPGA Developer – Aerospace & Defence

CUONICS develops highly reliable electronic and avionics systems for aerospace, defence and other safety-critical industries. We combine EN 9100-certified development with our own EASA Part 21G production facility, enabling us to support the complete product lifecycle from concept to series production.

We are looking for FPGA developers who are passionate about real-time systems, digital signal processing and high-reliability electronics.

• FPGA design and implementation in VHDL
• Simulation and verification of FPGA architectures
• Development of test environments and analysis tools in Python
• Bring-up, debugging and validation of FPGA-based systems
• Contribution to development activities in accordance with DO-254 and ARP4754A
• Close collaboration with hardware, software and systems engineers

• Experience in FPGA development using VHDL
• Familiarity with ModelSim, Questa, GHDL or similar verification tools
• Knowledge of communication interfaces such as AXI, ARINC, Ethernet, PCIe, SPI or CAN
• Experience with Python, MATLAB/Simulink or model-based development is beneficial
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Good communication skills in German and/or English
