Role:
FPGA Design Research Engineer responsible for architecting and developing embedded systems for real-time controls and industrial communication applications.
Responsibilities

Develop FPGA solutions for embedded and industrial control systems.

Use FPGA design tools to simulate, test, optimize, and implement real-time embedded systems.

Collaborate with government agencies, universities, and partners to advance embedded technologies.

Assist in transitioning prototypes from lab demonstrations to field-ready products.

Contribute to technical publications, patent filings, and open-source projects.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Ph.D. or Master’s with industry experience, or Bachelor’s with extensive industry background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

2-5 years in FPGA/SoC design using Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, with experience on Xilinx and/or Intel FPGA tools.

Strong knowledge of digital logic design, RTL verification, high-speed interfaces, and hardware debugging.

Experience with high-level synthesis, version control, and model-based design tools.

Desired: embedded programming skills, Linux system knowledge, real-time OS, virtualization, and CI/CD experience.
