About The Program
The FPGA Design Engineer Apprenticeship Program is designed for graduates who aspire to build a career in FPGA development, digital system implementation, and semiconductor engineering.
Participants will gain exposure to hardware design, FPGA prototyping, RTL implementation, and validation methodologies commonly used in semiconductor product development.
Program Structure
During the 10-day training phase in Chennai, India, you'll gain practical exposure to: -
• Technical lectures and guided practical sessions• Semiconductor ecosystem exposure
• Industry visits and technical sharing sessions• Networking opportunities with students and professionals
• International learning environment In the 3-week hands-on training phase in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, you'll gain practical experience in:
• FPGA development projects
• RTL implementation exercises
• Hardware debugging activities
• Industry-readiness workshops
In the following 3 months, you'll gain hands-on industry experience through an On-the-Job Training (OJT) placement.
Responsibilities
As an FPGA Design Engineer Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to industry-standard development workflows such as:
• Developing FPGA-based hardware solutions
• Supporting RTL implementation and testing activities
• Performing simulation, debugging, and validation tasks
• Assisting in FPGA prototyping projects
• Supporting hardware verification and integration activities
• Collaborating with design and verification teams
• Preparing technical documentation and reports
• Participating in engineering reviews and technical discussions
Who We're Looking For
• Fresh graduates or final-year students in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Strong interest in processor architecture and semiconductor design
• Basic understanding of computer architecture concepts
• Curiosity about RISC-V and CPU development
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to commit to the full training and OJT duration
