Job SummaryĀ
This role for EngineerĀ is toĀ assistĀ routine embedded software testing and validation responsibilities of the Engineering & Technology Center to support our controls and testing team.Ā
The selected candidates will undergo comprehensive training covering manual embedded application testing, test case design, user interface testing, and Python scripting for test automation ā for a duration of minimum 3 months at the Engineering & Technology Center,Ā Bangalore. Upon successful completion of the training program and assessment, individuals will be assigned to support specific projects and product lines within the Controls & Software Testing Team. The training is structured in phases (crawl/walk/run) and includes functional testing, field issue analysis, and test infrastructure work to prepare individuals for mainstream test engineering assignments.Ā
ResponsibilitiesĀ Post Completion of Training PeriodĀ
Understand software and system requirements andĀ come up withĀ test scenarios for testing embedded applications, web applications, web portals, and user interfaces.Ā
Execute manual test cases for sprints and continuously improve test coverage by identifying new scenarios.Ā
Perform User Interface testing across a range of controller HMI platforms and web-based interfaces.Ā
Use Python scripting to automate repetitive test checks, parseĀ controllerĀ and data-recorder logs, and analyze test results.Ā
Troubleshoot field issues (customer issues), reproduce issues, and provide root cause analysis and problem resolution.Ā
Support the development team inĀ re-testingĀ critical defects to find effective resolution.Ā
Prepare andĀ maintainĀ test documentation including Test Plans, Test Reports, and regulatory artifacts (DFMEA, DVP&R).Ā
Work closely with global teams to coordinate testing activities and report project status.Ā
Leverage AI tools (AI-assisted test case generation, defect analysis) to accelerate testing workflows whileĀ maintainingĀ rigor.Ā
