Job Description for Associate Engineer - Firmware Development
Primary Objective of position:
Work independently on software development projects. Iimplement the software consists of control functions, communication protocols, drivers and web page user interface running on Linux or a real-time operating system.
Develop software in C/C++ technologies and web technologies.
Job Responsibility
- Coordinating and interface with other international design and development teams
- Participate in project requirements, plans, and schedule development
- Task planning and scheduling
- Implement software in C/C++ technologies and web pages
Job Requirements
- BE - Computer Science \ Electronics Engineering or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software development in Linux environment
- C & C++ experience is a must
- Experience of interfacing with communications protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol is preferred.
- Ability to develop readable, robust, reliable, well-structured code is a must
- Yocto experience is a plus
- Web/CGI application background is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
- Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
