Develop and implement Harman own sound processing algorithms that enhance the sound of Harman products.
Take ownership of legacy sound algorithms and DSP platforms used in current products in order to provide necessary updates and ensure continued success
Keep track of the latest sound technological innovations and developments and work closely with sound algorithm partner.
Architect algorithms to various DSP architectures and oversee product integration working with global engineering teams.
Closely interact with Category Product Managers and cross-divisional peers (Automotive, Pro, lifestyle groups) to identify new ways to enhance sound.
Regularly documenting findings, recommendations, algorithms, software, Etc.
Work with Acoustic team to design new sound algorithms.
What You Need
Master degree in Digital Signal Processing, Math, Acoustics, Voice or other related major
Rich experience developing sound or voice algorithms and proven record.
Must be a self-starter who can take initiative and drive to successful conclusion
Proficient in developing digital signal processing, audio/speech algorithm processing.
Strong acoustic/Voice signal module development background. Like limiter, EQ, Crossover, AEC, ANC, Leveler, beamforming.
Strong Matlab or Python experience.
Fluent Spoken English, Professional read and written English skill.
DSP/Audio Hardware knowledge is a plus.
