About the Role:
We're looking for Embedded Systems Engineer (multiple positions) to join our firmware team. You'll work on real client projects spanning wearable/medical devices, IoT hardware, and regulated embedded systems.
What You'll Do:
-
Write and debug embedded C/C++ firmware for microcontroller-based products.
-
Work with peripherals — ADCs, timers, UART/SPI/I2C, interrupts, DMA.
-
Contribute to firmware built around an RTOS (task scheduling, synchronization primitives, ISR-safe design).
-
Design and implement state machines for device behavior and control logic.
-
Apply basic signal processing concepts (filtering, sampling, noise handling) where the project calls for it.
-
Bring up and debug boards using a vendor SDK (ESP-IDF, STM32Cube/HAL, or similar).
-
Collaborate with senior engineers on design reviews, testing, and documentation.
-
Be able to read circuit schematics and write chip drivers in C++ or C.
You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have:
-
Solid fundamentals in C and C++.
-
A working understanding of RTOS concepts and state machine design.
-
Basic grasp of signal processing fundamentals.
-
Hands-on experience with a microcontroller platform such as ESP32 or STM32 — using the vendor-provided framework (ESP-IDF, STM32Cube/HAL, etc.), not just Arduino.
-
Comfortable reading datasheets and reference manuals, and debugging at the register/peripheral level.
-
Genuine curiosity about how hardware and firmware interact.
Bonus Points For:
-
Experience with low-power design or battery-powered devices.
-
Familiarity with communication protocols like BLE, LoRaWAN, or Modbus.
-
Personal projects, university coursework, or open-source contributions involving embedded systems.
Soft Skill We Like to See:
-
Clarity in written and verbal communication
-
Analytical thinking and problem solving
-
Ownership and accountability
-
Willingness to learn and take feedback
-
Team collaboration
A note on AI tools during the interview:
Please avoid using AI/LLM tools during the interview or the programming assignment, unless you're able to clearly explain the underlying concepts in your own words. This interview is meant to assess your abilities — not an LLM's. It's completely fine if you don't know something; just say so. Honesty about gaps in knowledge is far more valuable to us than an answer you can't explain.
