Role Overview:

We are seeking a Firmware System Engineer who will help us scale from prototype validation to production-ready vehicle systems. You’ll own core firmware development for both our electric vehicles and battery swap stations, ensuring robust, production-grade control software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate swap station control algorithms for automated battery swapping.
• Write clean, modular, and version-controlled code in Embedded C.
• Integrate and test firmware on hardware platforms using tools like JTAG/SWD.
• Build scalable model-based development flows using MATLAB Simulink.
• Support optimization, debugging, and validation of firmware for performance and reliability.
• Maintain structured firmware architecture across all vehicles — mule, pre-beta, and beta builds.

Skills & Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in Embedded C and microcontroller programming.
• Hands-on with NXP microcontrollers, peripherals (CAN, LIN, UART, ADC, PWM).
• Familiar with Git or any version control system.
• Experience or coursework in MATLAB, Simulink, and model-based design workflows.
• Good understanding of real-time embedded systems, debugging tools, and system integration.
