Job Description

What You'll Work On

• Design, implement, and test embedded software components under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Strong experience skill set in code analysis, design, implementation, and testing with overall knowledge of Linux Kernel/RTOS/framework architecture and low-level SW like system control firmware, bootloader, drivers, and device tree.
• Analyze and troubleshoot hardware-software interaction issues to resolve technical challenges.
• Contribute to the development of software requirements and validation processes aligned with ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) and Functional Safety standards like ISO 26262.
• Managing the collaborative SW development with HQ team in Korea.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3rd/last-year Student, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics / Robotics or related field (GPA at least 7.5)
• Knowledge of programming languages Python and C/C++.
• Additional skills and experience in related areas are a plus, including:
• Fundamental knowledge of embedded systems and ARM-based (Cortex-A, Cortex-M) or RISC-V SoC and embedded system hardware.
• Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and device driver concepts.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, or Bluetooth is a plus.
• Interest in debugging and working with tools like JTAG debugger, OpenOCD, or Lauterbach Trace32.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative tools such as Jira or Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Can commit good time amount (at least 3 days full time per week) for Internship.
