At Loepfe, you develop embedded software for high-precision sensor systems used in spinning mills around the world. Working closely with experts in sensor technology, electronics and application engineering, you help turn complex technical requirements into reliable solutions and shape the next generation of Loepfe products.

Your new role

  • You develop, implement and test embedded software and work with the relevant CI/CD processes
  • You work with other departments to develop new features for our future products
  • You further develop the sensor algorithm and thus work on the core of the sensors
  • You actively contribute to firmware development topics, including development tools and code quality
  • You support our application engineering colleagues with technical questions related to our existing products

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in software engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical field from a university or university of applied sciences
  • You have at least three years of professional experience in embedded software development (C++) and are motivated to use and expand this expertise
  • You have experience working with microcontrollers and real-time operating systems such as Zephyr
  • You have a good command of both German and English
  • Experience with GitHub, Jira and Confluence, as well as working in agile teams, is an advantage
