About The Role

In the role of Embedded Software Specialist, you will contribute to the development of high-quality embedded software for consumer electronics products. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with electronics, test, and system engineers to deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested embedded solutions. The Impact You’ll Make

• Develop and maintain embedded software solutions for consumer electronics applications using both 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Design and implement Touch UI and key-based user interfaces on embedded MCU platforms.
• Apply basic hardware and application knowledge to effectively collaborate with electronics engineers and ensure seamless hardware–software integration.
• Contribute to software quality by applying structured software testing practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated and semi-automated test solutions using NI LabVIEW TestStand.
• Use Python to support test automation, tooling, data analysis, and development efficiency.
• Actively participate in peer reviews to improve code quality, knowledge sharing, and overall platform robustness.
• Apply platform thinking to contribute to reusable, scalable software architectures across products which allow product development time to a minimum.
• Work pragmatically and flexibly, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on product quality and delivery.
  
  

The Skills And Knowledge You’ll Bring

• Minimum working experience of 3+ Years
• Experience with embedded software development on 8-bit and 32-bit microcontroller platforms. C++ language and coding standard Experience required.
• Experience with Touch UI and key-based interfaces on embedded MCU systems.
• Basic hardware knowledge and application-level understanding of consumer electronics products.
• Proven software testing skills, including experience with structured test approaches.
• Hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW TestStand for software and system testing.
• Practical Python programming skills for test automation, scripting, or tooling.
• A collaborative mindset with experience in peer reviews and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
• Pragmatic, flexible working style with an affinity for platform-based development approaches.
