We are seeking an experienced
Senior Software Engineer
to join a leading aerospace engineering team developing
safety-critical embedded software
for next-generation commercial aerospace power electronics. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced embedded control systems used in aircraft applications while contributing to products that meet the highest aviation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for aerospace electronic systems.

Develop embedded control software for power electronic applications, including
3-phase active rectifiers, Motor Control, DC-DC Converters, and AC Drives
.

Design and implement advanced control algorithms for real-time embedded systems.
-
Perform software integration, debugging, testing, and performance optimisation.
-
Collaborate with hardware, systems, and control engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
-
Create software requirements, design documentation, verification plans, and test procedures.
-
Participate in software design reviews and support product validation and qualification testing.

Develop software in compliance with
RTCA DO-178B/C
and aerospace industry standards.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

5+ years of embedded software development experience in the aerospace industry.

Hands-on experience with
RTCA DO-178B/C
software development processes.
-
Strong programming experience in
embedded C/C++
.

Experience with embedded systems architecture and real-time software development.
-
Knowledge of communication protocols such as
CAN, ARINC-429, SPI, I2C, and RS-232
.

Experience with software verification, debugging, and hardware/software integration.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing embedded software for
power electronics,
including:

Power Factor Correction (PFC)

-
Experience with
MATLAB/Simulink
, PSIM, or PSpice.

Experience programming DSPs or microcontrollers such as
TI TMS320F28xx
, PIC, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with aerospace standards such as
DO-160

DO-254
.

Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and programmable power supplies.
