Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and debug automotive embedded software for high-performance electronic control units (ECUs). The role involves AUTOSAR software integration, real-time embedded development, and ASPICE-compliant software engineering, ensuring ISO 26262 functional safety compliance. The ideal candidate will work closely with software architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 4+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
• Strong experience in Embedded C/C++.
• Experience with AUTOSAR OS and BSW configuration.
• ASPICE process compliance (SWE.3, SWE.4, SWE.5).
• ISO 26262 Functional Safety development experience.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet, etc.).
• Unit/interface testing experience (Tessy, Unity, or similar).
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR, QNX, or Linux frameworks.
• Experience with device driver development (Flash, EEPROM, LIN, CANFD, Ethernet, SPI, etc.).
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect and requirements management tools (Polarion, Reqtify).
• Experience with static analysis tools (QAC) and configuration management tools (SVN, Git).
• Knowledge of French, Dutch, or German.
