We're Hiring: Embedded Software Engineer | Sneek, Netherlands

Are you an embedded software engineer who loves working close to the metal and loves bringing fresh ideas to a team that builds real things? We'd love to meet you.

We're looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join us on-site in Sneek on a 12-month contract, with the clear intention of converting to a permanent role. You'll be working on complex embedded systems where software meets hardware, contributing to architecture decisions and system design from day one.

📍 Location: Sneek, Netherlands (fully on-site, 5 days/week)

📄 Contract: 12 months - permanent

What you'll bring:

• Strong C and C++ skills — this is your daily toolkit
• Python for scripting, test automation, or tooling
• Comfortable in Linux environments (embedded or otherwise)
• A background in hardware or computer electronics — you understand what's happening on the other side of the software
• Solid understanding of system architecture and system design
• 3+ years of hands-on embedded development experience
• Fluent English — clear communication matters here
• Dutch is a plus, but not required

Nice to have:

• Experience with C² (C-squared)
• Qt for embedded UI or applications
• Familiarity with AI/ML at the edge or embedded level
