Step into the role

As Embedded Software Engineer you have a central role to be involved in all development projects both internal and customer projects. Your task is to have the customer view on the products during the development to make sure that MilDef can deliver products with highest quality and above the customers expectation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software for our products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements
• Develop test, calibration and verification software for our products
• Review electrical design in projects
• Continuously document the development according to MilDef's quality system
• Continuously report progress in the assign project to the team
• Responsible for the release of software to products
• Support troubleshooting within engineering and production
• Assist in verification of components, blocks and products
  
  

What You Bring

• At least 3 years of Embedded Linux software development experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Electronics design experience
• Hands-on experience with FPGA design (e.g., using Verilog, VHDL, or tools like Vivado) is a strong merit
• Experience with real-time systems or RTOS and with MCUs, e.g. STM32
• Understanding of hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, etc.)
• Experience with Yocto is a merit
• Experience with the Rust programming language is a merit
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
