Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join the Remote Control & Autonomy team. You will design, develop, integrate, and test scalable features on embedded electronic control systems and vision systems for remote control machine applications. This is a hands‑on engineering role working within a collaborative 5–6 person team.

Key Responsibilities

• Embedded software design : Develop AUTOSAR‑based applications in Embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink.
• System integration : Collaborate with hardware and software teams across the full lifecycle.
• Requirements management : Create and maintain requirements with traceability to system and customer needs.
• Troubleshooting : Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex system issues.
• Testing & validation : Develop and execute test plans; support functional safety validation.
• Collaboration : Work with global teams to deliver production‑ready solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience in RTOS environments.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink .
• Hands‑on experience with AUTOSAR (Classic Platform preferred).
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in robotics, remote control, or autonomy .
• Familiarity with datalinks (CAN, Ethernet) and tools (CANape, Wireshark).
• Knowledge of FMEA processes and electronic system failure modes.
• Experience with Linux‑based development, Qt framework, and camera firmware.
• Background in mobile, earthmoving, agricultural, or industrial embedded systems.
