Join Lincoln Electric, a global leader in welding solutions, as an Embedded Software Engineer! You'll design and implement cutting-edge embedded software for arc welding and automation systems, utilizing your expertise in C/C++, RTOS, and embedded Linux to build innovative solutions for real-world industrial applications.


The Role

• Develop multithreaded controls with industrial Real Time Operating Systems and Embedded Linux using C and C++.

• Design software for communication with industrial automation networks (e.g., CAN, Ethernet/IP), Internet protocols (e.g., HTTP, FTP), and wireless (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).

• Create software for embedded graphical displays, enhancing user interaction with advanced systems.

• Develop and refine automated test setups, frameworks, and methods for embedded systems, including unit, integration, and system-level tests.

• Troubleshoot issues in development and production environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimizing downtime.


What You'll Need

• Four-year Engineering degree and a minimum of three years of engineering experience in embedded systems.

• Strong familiarity with embedded systems architecture, design considerations, and hardware-software interactions.

• Proven industry experience writing C and C++ for embedded platforms.

• Expertise in various testing methodologies and frameworks for embedded systems, including unit testing, integration testing, and system-level testing.

• Proficiency in Real Time Operating Systems, Embedded Linux, and industrial automation networks like CAN and Ethernet/IP.
