We are looking for a passionate and driven engineer to join our high-performing, remote-friendly team in Bucharest.
In this role you will develop embedded software for a range of Hybrid and Electric Vehicle projects.
Responsibilities

Analyze and understand software and safety requirements

Create detailed designs of software components

Implement software components in C language
-
Perform software debugging on target
-
Create and execute SIL & PIL unit tests

Configure AUTOSAR components
-
Perform development software builds
-
Participate in software and safety conformance reviews
-
Collaborate closely with our software architect and test engineers
Required knowledge
-
Good experience with embedded C programming
-
Experience with AUTOSAR applied to safety-critical systems
-
Experience with debugger tools
-
Working to MISRA C, ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards

Good appreciation of technologies used in HV/EV systems

Experience with at least one requirements management tool

Good understanding of vehicle networks (CAN, LIN)

Understanding of vehicle diagnostic (UDS, OBD) and XCP protocols

Excellent verbal and written English skills

Experience with PowerPC MCU architecture

Experience with Vector DaVinci tools

Experience with Agile working methods

ISO 26262 certification

German language skills

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Automotive Engineering or similar field

Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Development for embedded systems
