Embedded Software Engineer - €750 per day – Freelance – Amsterdam

Audio technology scale up now requires a freelance embedded C/C++ Engineer to support the development and production of their next generation audio/Bluetooth products.

This role will focus on stabilising our client’s firmware, system integrations, debugging issues and delivering production ready firmware.

Key Requirements:

• Strong embedded C/C++ experience on ARM-based platforms (multi-core SoCs).
• Proven experience shipping Bluetooth (BLE + BR/EDR) firmware for consumer electronics or other battery-powered devices.
• Hands-on experience with embedded audio products (earbuds, headphones, or wearables).
• Solid embedded debugging and system integration skills, with experience carrying products through DVT, PVT, and production.
• Previous experience optimizing firmware for low-power operation.
• Experience with Airoha chipsets and SDKs – Desirable.
• Comfort working across GitHub, Jira, and cross-functional teams (EE, Mobile SW, QA).

This is a freelance engagement through until the end of the year, providing a daily rate of €750 per day.

In terms of working structure, this is hybrid with 2-3 days per week in our clients Amsterdam office and the rest remote.
