Embedded Sensing Engineer

indiGO Europe is looking for an Embedded Sensing Engineer to invent, integrate, and shape the future of electric mobility. You will play a crucial role in developing and integrating cutting-edge sensing technologies into our next-generation electric vehicles . We're looking for a proactive innovator who thrives on independence, takes initiative, and loves exploring bold new solutions.

From early prototypes to production-ready systems, you'll have the freedom to research, test, and implement your own ideas - shaping real products that will hit the road.

How you will contribute:

• Research, evaluate, and integrate new sensing technologies into indiGO's embedded stack
• Develop firmware in C/C++ for sensor integration and system communication
• Design and prototype hardware (PCB layouts, wiring schematics)
• Experiment independently with new solutions and bring forward bold ideas
• Troubleshoot integration challenges and improve system reliability

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience integrating sensors or embedded systems
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and Git workflow experience
• Solid understanding of electronics and PCB design
• Hands-on prototyping and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently and proactively drive solutions forward
• Fluent English and strong communication skills

Bonus points for:

• ARM microcontrollers and RTOS experience
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping environments
