Embedded SW Integrator Intern

Rolling Wireless is an international company with 20+ years of experience in developing cellular modems and software for automotive market. We are worldwide the largest 2nd Tier supplier of cellular modems to the automotive industry.

Position / Assignment Purpose : 

Join us and gain hands-on experience with
Yocto while working on our cutting-edge 5G automotive modem, a key technology for software-over-the-air updates and emergency call systems.
You’ll dive into Linux-based development, integrating both open-source and in-house software applications. Your tasks will include testing, documenting results for the team, and preparing customer demos to support our sales colleagues during live presentations.
Step by step, you’ll learn our development environment, product features, and the exciting world of the telecommunications industry.

Required Experience : 

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

- Availability of at least 16 hours per week on avarage and a minimum 1-year commitment. (We encourage you to use this experience for your thesis or lab work)

- Strong team player mindset : share your progress, raise questions, and ask for help when needed.

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills for complex tasks.

- Good command of English (spoken and written).

- Auto-motivation, self-drive.

- Intermediate C/C++ programming skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Linux, Yocto, Android, or Git.

- Knowledge of telecommunication technologies (4G/5G, Wi-Fi, GNSS, TCP/IP networking) in hardware or software.
