We are seeking a visionary Software Architect with profound expertise in AUTOSAR to join our team. You will be at the forefront of designing and delivering cutting-edge automotive software solutions that cater to prominent OEM Vehicle customers like Ford, GM, Stellantis, and others. This role demands strategic involvement in both AUTOSAR and Non-AUTOSAR projects, ensuring excellence in embedded systems technology.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead the software architecture and design processes of both AUTOSAR and Non-AUTOSAR projects. Focus on optimizing performance, scalability, and security.
Spearhead the development and integration of low-level drivers, bootloaders, and operating systems to support high-quality automotive software solutions.
Define and manage interdependencies among communication stacks, security frameworks, file systems, applications, and essential automotive system services.
Multicore resource allocation & management
Collaborate effectively with hardware, basic software, and application teams to ensure alignment with the overarching system architecture.
Facilitate seamless integration of customer and supplier applications alongside low-level drivers, optimizing for memory usage, CPU load, and power consumption.
Develop comprehensive technical architecture documentation adhering to industry standards and internal requirements, particularly for real-time and safety-critical environments.
Mentor and provide leadership to junior software engineers, nurturing best practices in embedded software development, testing, and debugging.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to continually refine and enhance the software development lifecycle.
Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Embedded Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in the embedded software industry, focusing on automotive applications.
Extensive experience with Automotive Operating Systems and embedded systems architecture (HW/SW).
Strong understanding of System Architecture.
Additional Background preferences:
Proficiency in System Composer and experience with AUTOSAR.
Insight into ASPICE processes.
Local residency with the ability to work on-site in Guadalajara.
Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and ETHERNET.
Experience in developing software on platforms like Renesas and Infineon.
Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI and I2C.
Competence in using tools like DaVinci (Vector), ISOLAR A/B (ETAS), and TRESOS (Elektrobit)
Skills/Knowledge:
ASPICE, Functional Safety, MISRA and AUTOSAR standards.
Dynamic software behavior analysis and resource management.
Knowledge of software memory allocation techniques.
