Job Requirements

Experience : 3-5 years

Performed firmware validation and testing for Energy Meters and Energy Management Systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Executed functional, integration, system, and regression testing of embedded firmware on metering devices.

Validated energy measurement accuracy, calibration logic, and billing parameter configurations.

Conducted hardware–software integration testing on metering hardware, sensors (voltage/current), RTC, EEPROM, and communication interfaces.

Verified communication protocols including Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet, CAN, UART, SPI, I²C, and FTP.

Performed protocol packet analysis and data validation using debugging tools.(Wireshark)

Supported production firmware validation and manufacturing release at plant level.

Performed defect analysis, log analysis, and root cause investigation to improve firmware robustness.

Prepared detailed test cases, validation reports, release notes, and manufacturing documentation.

Worked closely with firmware developers, hardware teams, and production teams for issue resolution.

Conducted field issue replication and validation for customer-reported defects.

Exposure to JAMA & Jira and awareness on Agile methodology
