Your work will focus on developing advanced technologies to monitor and ensure the integrity of water pipeline networks. In doing so, you help to use the limited resource of water more efficiently and make an important contribution to sustainability and environmental protection.
You develop and optimize software for embedded systems based on STM32 microcontrollers using modern C++
You design, implement and integrate low-level functions, hardware-related interfaces and sensor drivers (e.g. via I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
You plan, execute and document tests for the functions and components you develop, and your results flow directly into the further improvement of our systems
You support the creation of technical concepts, assess their feasibility and accompany their implementation
You work closely together with adjacent departments such as electronics development, system integration and product development
Areas in which you can deepen your expertise
You integrate existing FPGA components on the software side, independently develop FPGA IP cores (VHDL) and define data paths
You design and implement system services, interfaces and background processes in Python on Linux-based SoCs
You contribute to system integration across the entire platform – from the microcontroller up to the Linux-based target system
