We are seeking a skilled and experienced Embedded Linux Engineer to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. In this role, you will configure, tailor, and build custom Linux distributions for embedded platforms. You will be responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining low-level Linux kernel drivers in C, as well as integrating third-party libraries, tools, and drivers into optimized, production-ready Linux systems. Your responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and feature specifications
• Contribute to architecture discussions, tech specifications and project estimation
• Work independently to solve problems of different complexity with a focus on priorities and business value
• Design and implement software solutions across multiple platforms and frameworks, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure applications
• Collaboration with team members across different locationsRole's requirements
• 3+ years of experience in C programing
• Hands-on experience using the Yocto Project
• Knowledge of ARM-based or other embedded system architectures
• Experience debugging embedded systems using tools such as GDB, JTAG, and oscilloscopes
• Understanding of Linux kernel device trees and open-source bootloaders
• Familiarity with secure and non-secure boot processes on ARM-based SoCs
• Solid experience with Git
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related degree
