Embedded Firmware Engineer

Wright is looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer with 5 years of experience to be part of a growing R&D team. This is a hands-on position to rapidly prototype power electronic and control systems for motor and generator applications. Requirements for this position include:

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience is required
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with firmware development for microcontrollers
• Experience with prototype and product development
• Ability to work with and engage team members across departments
• Experience with testing and test definition

Desired

• Experience with motors, drives, and power electronics
• Experience with generators and micro-grids
• Experience with MBSE using Matlab Simulink (Simscape Electrical, Embedded Coder, etc.)
• Experience with CANBUS development
• Experience with TI C2000 architecture and tools
