Embedded Firmware Engineer - Network Equipment

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement firmware for network equipment.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components.
• Troubleshoot and debug firmware issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize firmware performance and memory usage.
• Document firmware specifications and design processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in embedded systems.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in Embedded C for firmware development
• Solid understanding of communication protocols and networking concepts (e.g., switching, routing)
• Experience working with routers, switches, and network equipment
• Familiarity with microcontroller programming and device driver development
• Hands-on experience with RTOS and preferably FreeRTOS
• Knowledge of C++ and scripting languages like Python is a plus
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams
