Embedded Firmware & Connectivity Architect
to join an innovative
R&D project
in
Orbe, Switzerland
, focused on the development of
next-generation connected devices
. In this role, you will contribute to the design and evolution of
embedded firmware solutions
, helping to define
scalable connectivity architectures
while promoting
engineering best practices
across multiple international projects.
You will be responsible for developing and integrating
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
communication, implementing connectivity between
embedded devices, mobile applications and cloud platforms
, and contributing to the creation of
reusable firmware components
. In addition, you will collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams and external partners
to improve firmware development methodologies, standardize workflows, and ensure the delivery of
reliable, high-quality embedded solutions
.
What will be your main responsibilities?

Develop and validate
embedded firmware
focused on
device connectivity
.

Design and integrate
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
communication within
multi-device ecosystems
.

Implement communication protocols connecting devices with
mobile and cloud platforms
.
-
Contribute to
firmware architecture
,
system integration
and
reusable software components
.
-
Promote
standardized firmware development practices
and
modern engineering workflows
.
-
Improve
Git repositories
,
CI/CD pipelines
and development processes.
-
Collaborate with
internal teams, suppliers and external partners
.
-
Support
requirements analysis
and
continuous improvement initiatives
.
What will you need?
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree
in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems or a related field.
-
3–5 years of experience
in embedded firmware development.
-
Strong experience with
C/C++
and
RTOS
.
-
Solid knowledge of
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
,
Wi-Fi
and embedded communication protocols.
-
Experience with
GitHub
,
CI/CD pipelines
and modern software development practices.
-
Strong
analytical
,
hands-on
and
collaborative
mindset.
-
Fluent
French
and intermediate
English
(minimum
B2
).
