Role Description The Embedded Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Perintalmanna. This role involves designing, developing, and testing embedded systems that support building sustainability and energy optimization solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with microcontrollers and embedded platforms, implementing firmware, integrating sensors and communication modules, and troubleshooting hardware–software interactions. The Embedded Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into reliable embedded implementations, supports product deployment at customer sites, and prepares documentation for designs, code, and test procedures. The role also includes maintaining existing embedded solutions, optimizing performance and power usage, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in embedded system design, including experience with microcontrollers, embedded C/C++, and real-time operating systems.
  • Skills in hardware–software integration, such as working with sensors, communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C), and basic PCB-level debugging.
  • Proficiency in software development practices, including version control tools, unit testing, and structured documentation of code and architectures.
  • Ability to analyze system requirements, perform technical research, and apply problem-solving skills to optimize performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with project stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with IoT, building automation, or energy management systems is an advantage.
  • Commitment to sustainable engineering practices and willingness to learn emerging technologies in building sustainability.
