Job Description :-

We are seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer with a strong background in Linux‑based embedded systems . The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with the Yocto build environment and strong proficiency in Embedded C++ . This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining firmware for multi‑core embedded systems , ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test firmware for multi‑core embedded systems in a Linux environment
• Build and maintain custom Linux distributions using the Yocto build system
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define firmware requirements
• Implement and optimize networking protocols for device communication
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards
• Use Jira and Git for tracking and version control
• Document firmware design and development activities

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux‑based firmware development
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and Embedded C++
• Solid understanding of OOAD and SOLID principles
• Hands‑on experience with Yocto
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Multithreading

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi‑core embedded systems
• Exposure to networking protocols: TCP, MQTT, Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, BACnet, CAN
• Experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Git
