Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team. In this role, you won't just be designing hardware in a lab—you will see your creations through to the finish line by supporting deployment, testing, and troubleshooting directly at client sites. We need a resourceful problem-solver who thrives on technical challenges, works well with minimal supervision, and is equally comfortable in front of a schematic design tool as they are interacting with clients in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Prototyping: Create and review circuit diagrams, component selection, and PCB layouts (from prototype to production).

Field Deployment & Commissioning: Support the installation, setup, and deployment of devices at client sites, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Testing & Troubleshooting: Design comprehensive test cases; diagnose and resolve hardware, firmware, and connectivity issues both in the lab and on-site.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and vendor teams to ensure smooth product delivery.

Vendor & Logistics Management: Coordinate with fabrication houses, manage component sourcing, and identify reliable vendors to keep project timelines on track.

Documentation: Prepare clear technical documentation, user manuals, and site deployment/test reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in hardware design, development, and debugging.

• Solid understanding of analog/digital circuits and PCB design tools (e.g., KiCad, Altium).

• Strong diagnostic skills using laboratory and field equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded systems and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, RS-485, Modbus).

• Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience in component selection, vendor selection and sourcing will be a plus.
