Job Description

🚀 Cleveron is looking for a technically-minded and solution-oriented Embedded Electronics Engineer to join our hardware department and help take our product development to the next level. In this role, you will be a key player in developing the electronics for our devices, managing test fixtures, and ensuring production quality.

At Cleveron, we provide our clients with innovative, comprehensive robotic and parcel locker solutions, along with user-friendly software and global after-sales service (installation, maintenance, and technical support). Our solutions ensure a first-class e-commerce customer experience for the end consumer and help business clients worldwide automate their operations.

🎯 What will your role be in our team?

  • Managing, developing, and ensuring the production quality of devices on Cleveron's printed circuit boards (PCBs) and their test fixtures
  • Ensuring embedded electronics expertise during the development and integration of new products
  • Organizing and conducting testing for new products—working closely with external laboratories when necessary
  • Ensuring products comply with technical product standards
  • Proactively resolving supplier inquiries and technical issues
  • Preparing development kits for the Software department, which is developing the embedded software running on your boards
  • Conducting Root Cause Analysis for field failures and providing technical support during pilot deployments for the After Sales Support team
  • Supporting the Production department with the analysis, repair, or reclamation of boards that fail production tests
  • Documenting your work and technical changes, ensuring clarity and availability of information for the entire team

🛠 What experience do we expect from you?

  • Experience working at an EMS provider as an engineer analyzing customer circuit failures
  • Experience with product certification processes (EMC, ESD, LVD, RoHS)

🛠 What skills do we expect from you?

  • A higher education degree in a related field or in physics
  • A deep interest and passion for the field
  • Familiarity with PCB manufacturing and assembly processes and their limitations
  • Proficiency in ECAD software (Cleveron's daily tool is Altium Designer)
  • Solid knowledge of the differences between high- and low-side switching; linear, shunt, or switching regulators; CAN, I2C, and SPI; and knowing where to use each
  • Familiarity with key electronics laboratory instruments and the ability to use them proficiently
  • Ability to solder and repair PCB assemblies (IPC Nominal density, minimum 0402/0.4mm pitch components, and leadless components)
  • Ability to automate tests and manufacturing processes using Python or JavaScript
  • Experience with Digilent Waveforms software and the Analog Discovery 3 instrument
  • Familiarity with BLE and NB-IOT/LTE-M communication protocols, as well as basic knowledge of radio communication solutions and the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED)
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • A responsible and proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a readiness to collaborate

🌍 What do we offer you?

  • A unique opportunity to solve exciting and meaningful challenges in an Estonian company, directly impacting the movement of millions of parcels worldwide
  • You will have the freedom and responsibility to create solutions from scratch and work with cutting-edge robotics and automation
  • One week of paid extra vacation in addition to the standard annual leave
  • A flexible and supportive work environment
  • Diverse opportunities for professional growth
  • Fun and engaging team events
  • A values-based work culture focusing on Teamwork, Ownership, Clear Focus, and Systematic Quality
