We are looking to hire an Electronics Engineer – Design and Verification within Electronics Group to enable Quantum technologies. What You’ll Accomplish:

  • Lead the testing of integrated electronic circuits and/or subsystems as a primary duty.
  • Design, build and test electronics solution using your skills of analogue, and digital circuit design together with industry standard CAD packages and test equipment.
  • Write the documentation of the electronics circuits and verification tests.
  • Develop your experience in a broad range of electronics engineering subject areas.
  • Maintain the multidisciplinary collaboration with mechanical engineers, software engineers, physicists, working towards a common goal.
  • Play a key role in building test systems for quantum computers.
  • Maintain UQs’ position of using state of the art electronics solutions.
  • Help in the planning and scheduling of projects, reporting progress and issues.
  • Engage with project planning activities, risk management, and scheduling requirements.
  • Help with fast turn-around proof of concepts and feasibility discussions.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the firmware and software used to control quantum computers.
