Electronics Engineer – Design and Verification

What You’ll Accomplish:

Lead the testing of integrated electronic circuits and/or subsystems as a primary duty.

Design, build and test electronics solution using your skills of analogue, and digital circuit design together with industry standard CAD packages and test equipment.

Write the documentation of the electronics circuits and verification tests.

Develop your experience in a broad range of electronics engineering subject areas.

Maintain the multidisciplinary collaboration with mechanical engineers, software engineers, physicists, working towards a common goal.

Play a key role in building test systems for quantum computers.

Maintain UQs’ position of using state of the art electronics solutions.

Help in the planning and scheduling of projects, reporting progress and issues.

Engage with project planning activities, risk management, and scheduling requirements.

Help with fast turn-around proof of concepts and feasibility discussions.

Develop a thorough understanding of the firmware and software used to control quantum computers.
